The Other Wilderness

Coming March 2027

In the summer of 1995, eighteen-year-old Taylor arrives in Utah’s Escalante wilderness determined to become someone new. Haunted by a childhood tragedy and desperate to prove himself, he enrolls in a two-week survival course led by Jennifer Lowes, the legendary star of Survivor Woman. But mastering the desert may be easier than earning the respect of his fellow trainees.

Stripped of modern comforts, Taylor must learn to navigate treacherous terrain, build friction fires, and survive on what the land provides. As hunger, exhaustion, and clashing personalities erode the group’s fragile trust, a crisis turns their training into a fight for their lives.
